About The Series

Downhill Madness, known by fans as DHM is an online video series that follows the team at Drift Trikes Whangarei who are internationaly renowned for helping mainstream the underground sport of Drift Triking thanks to Social Media and Digital Video.

Drift Trikes is a fast growing and sometimes controvertial extreme sport that involves controled drifting of purpose built drift trikes in competition and as a weekend sport.

The 2012 series of DHM follows the team through drift days, building new frames and forever testing the limits on some of the steepest hills in the country. In 2011 the DHM team competed at the Demon Energy World Championship Qualifying Round where 5/6 of the riders qualified into the Top16 before the grand final event was cancelled due to Auckland City Council Regulations.

DHM is filmed on Gopro Hero cameras along with the Oversteer TV team at SBPnz, the series has quickly grown a fanbase in not only New Zealand but around the world.
